SOURCE: Flyers Have Held Discussions to Trade Luke and Brayden Schenn

The Schenn brothers may not be long for Philadelphia.

According to a reliable source, the Flyers have recently discussed a deal with the Edmonton Oilers that would send the two brothers to Edmonton's for the Oilers 3rd overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Now, before all of you get too excited, my source did mention that these talks were BEFORE the Flyers changed General Managers. Whether those talks have died or continue is unknown at this point. Ron Hextall DID recently say it was a priority to re-sign Brayden Schenn, though that could just be him blowing smoke.

What this does tell us is the Flyers obviously don't have as much faith in the duo than everyone thinks. Personally, it doesn't come as much of a surprise since Brayden is the only legitimate forward on the roster who still doesn't have a deal for next season. And don't even get me started on Luke.

Would you back this move? Is that last question stupid?
